Rack for packaging material
Initial situation:
Small items such as, for example, insulation strips were stored in different containers at different storage places.
Implementation:
Assembly of a rack for centralized provision of packaging material that is needed for the assembly at the vehicle bodies.


Mounting trolley final assembly
Initial situation:
The workers had their own workbenches / toolboxes which resulted in time loss when looking for the suitable tool.
Implementation:
Construction of a mounting trolley with sufficient capacity to deposit a shadow board and further materials. Additionally, a fold-up table is attached in order to mount small components.
Deposit lifting platform door mounting
Initital situation:
The required material was stored on the standing surface of the working platform. This complicates the manufacturing process and leads to significant risks in such a small area.
Implementation:
Mounting of a storage shelf for safer deposit of the required material on the mobile lifting platform.


Deposit table for tools
Initital situation:
The required tools were stored in the car body on the floor.
Implementation:
The „deposit table“ allows for close provision of the required tools. The risk of stumbling due to tools lying around is minimized. In addition, the deposit table is foldable and therefore easy to store.
Mounting trolley connector assembly
Initial situation:
Assembly of connectors at various workbenches in the lifting platform area.
Implementation:
Construction of a mounting trolley including protecting cover, two clipboards to attach montage plans and storage for further material. The assembly of connectors now is possible directly at the assembling spot.


Trolley connector commissioning
Initial situation:
The small load carrier containers were made available on Euro pellets. The capacity was too small as the pallets have only one level.
Implementation:
Installation of a trolley with 5 levels which provides the warehouse with single components for connector assembly.
Trolley device control desk
Initial situation:
The device was located on a pallet and had to be put upright by hand, usually by two persons.
Implementation:
This trolley carrying the device control desk was constructed in a way which allows to take off the device with a forklift truck.


Safety Board
Initial siutation:
Various informational media containing different information about safety at work were used in factory buildings.
Implementation:
Implementation of the board ‘Be safe’. This standard board is used in all production areas.
Mounting trolley seat rail
Initial situation:
The worker must slide the material by hand due to process requirements, which is time consuming due to the floor construction in the car body.
Implementation:
Using the „mounting trolley seat rail“. This facilitates the carrying of the material as the trolley can be guided on the available rail.


Trolley touchscreen
Initial situation:
There was no possibility to view digital information such as 3D drawings on-site.
Implementation:
The workers use a trolley with touch screen to view any digital information at any place of the factory hall. The mobile version allows flexible use.
